Ansaid is produced by Pfizer, which contains flurbiprofen. This tablet is being used for the indication and treatment of severe tooth pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gout, ankylosing spondylitis, and mild to moderately severe pain. Flurbiprofen provides fast and effective relief from sore throat. Flurbiprofen is significantly more effective than paracetamol in primary dysmenorrhea. According to research by Muhammad Navaid on “Frequency of factors associated with knees osteoarthritis” more than 25% of the population of Pakistan has Osteoarthritis in which knee pain is very common. In another study in the Journal of International Medical Research, flurbiprofen shows good efficacy and tolerability over diclofenac sodium in symptomatic relief of Osteoarthritis.
Side Effects
Ansaid produces potentially life-threatening effects on the human body such as hemorrhage, perforation, peptic ulceration. If you face any of the above site effects just discontinue of flurbiprofen. Contraindications
Flurbiprofen is contraindicated in patients with demonstrated sensitivity to it. The potential exists for cross-sensitivity to aspirin and other NSAIDs. It should not be given to patients in whom flurbiprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs induce allergic-type reactions.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Because of the known effects of NSAIDs on the fetal cardiovascular system (closure of ductus arteriosus), use during late pregnancy should be avoided.
